Herbs and Supplements


You can speed up the weight loss process by taking vitamins and herbal supplements. I recommend the following for optimum weight lose and good health:

Alfalfa, Corn Silk, Dandelion, Juniper, Parsley, Uva Ursi, Yarrow

Any of these supplements can be used for diuretic properties. Most are available in tea form as well as tablets.


Magnesium
Magnesium helps to control sugar cravings. If you crave chocolate as much as I do, you should take magnesium!


Aloe Vera Juice

Reported to improve the digestion and to help cleanse the digestive system. Aloe Vera is available in tablet and in liquid forms.


Green Tea, Cardamom, Cayenne , Cinnamon, Ginger, Mustard Seed

These herbs are all thermogenics, meaning they boost your metabolic rate slightly, although many people find that Cayenne boosts their intake of antacids more than their metabolism.

Bladderwrack and Hawthorn Berry

Reported to improve thyroid function and boost adrenal glands.


Fennel
May act as an appetite suppressant and is believed to help remove fat and mucus from the intestinal tract.


Spirulina
Excellent source of protein, although not a complete protein. Some evidence that it helps stabilize blood sugar.

Chromium Picolinate

Chromium Picolinate is a dietary supplement that may be helpful in suppressing appetites and cravings. Additionally, it has been shown to build muscle and trim fat simultaneously. If taken with exercise and as part of a calorie controlled diet, the results can be outstanding.

In addition to herbs and supplements, essential oils and Bach flower essences can also help regulate your body. My favorite essential oils for weight issues are: Grapefruit, Ginger, Lemon, Peppermint, and Spearmint. Grapefruit is especially helpful in breaking up cellulite.

You can make massage oil from Sage, Pine, and Lemongrass to rejuvenate your cells after a cleanse diet.

To help with your affirmations and reprogramming I suggest using Chamomile and Sandalwood. Chamomile strengthens positive imprinting in your cells and sandalwood unlocks negativity and enhances positive programming in the DNA. Both oils can help to create a feeling of security and protection within you.
